The apartment complex is right by the Ballston metro (literally a half a minute walk from the metro), which is served by both the Orange Line and the Silver Line. It is within 10-15 minutes of metro ride or drive to downtown DC.
It's a nice, well-appointed apartment with lots of amenities at your disposal - club rooms, swimming pool, business center, a spacious gym open for use 20 hours in a day, free wi-fi in the common areas (such as the club room, business center, lobby area, and concierge service, etc..).
The apartment is furnished with most of what you need - living space and kitchen areas are fully furnished, bathroom kept very tidy. The vacant room comes with a huge wall to wall closet space, a queen size bed with a box spring, tables and night stand.

The Ballston Commons area is also a very nice area - and now booming and very fast developing. It has a number of attractions within a walking distance. It has medium size shopping mall right across (which was recently completely renovated/spruced up) for most every day needs as well as an in-door and beautiful outdoor food court, a variety of restaurants, a movie theatre/cinema; shopping centers etc. The building has a nice park behind it which is a nice place to hang out and relax. Overall, a very convenient living experience. You have everything you need within easy walking distance in Ballston or a couple of metro stops in Clarendon and Court House areas.
There is a grocery store (Harris Teeter) within a 7-minute walking distance. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are in Clarendon two metro stops away. For value shopping Costco is a ten minute drive from the apartment- or also accessible by metro.
