PM Announces 6 Key Guarantees for West Bengal: 7th Pay, Safety and Border Security
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Haldia, outlined six key guarantees for the people of West Bengal ahead of the April 23 elections. During his speech, he criticised the ruling All India Trinamool Congress, raising concerns over economic growth and governance in the state.
The proposed guarantees include implementation of the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, strengthening law and order, improving transparency in governance, and taking action against corruption. He also highlighted measures related to border security and addressing illegal infiltration, stating that these would be handled within the framework of existing laws.
Modi said that, if voted to power, the Bharatiya Janata Party would prioritise governance aligned with the Constitution, with a focus on accountability and inclusive development. He emphasised the party’s commitment to ensuring fairness and administrative efficiency across the state.
