Extremely rare, genuine BMW electric bicycle with desirable Bosch mid-drive motor, battery (not shown in picture), charger, and two keys. It has a Shimano 10-speed rear derailleur, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, front shocks, fenders, lights, and a rear rack that makes it great for commuting or fun rides on streets or paved or gravel trails. Unlike 95% of the ebikes out there that are mass produced in China, the frame on this bike is made in Portugal. With just 387 miles (mostly on the W&OD trail), this bike is still like new. We purchased it as new two years ago as old stock (it'd been in a shipping container that the dealer was clearing out). I'm guessing the model year is 2014.
The frame size isn't marked (BMW sold it as a one-size fits all). Both my wife (5'4") and I (6'0") have loved riding it, but my wife found an ebike that's smaller and a better fit for her. If I didn't already have four bikes, I'd make this mine.
These bikes retailed for around $4,000 news if you could find one. I've looked for a second one for years and never found another. Replacement Bosch batteries, on the other hand, are easy to find, and I have an extra available for another $400.
