1979 Corvette, L82/Auto matching #’s, Red with Black Leather, Pace Car Spoilers
This is a #’s Matching L-82/3-speed Automatic Corvette pretty loaded up for a 1979. PS/PB/Power Windows, Tilt-Telescoping Steering Wheel, Rear Defrost, Front and Back Pace Car Spoilers, Aluminum Wheels, A/C, 4-speaker System with Factory AM/FM/CB(No CB with Car) and Power Antenna(Does not work). Glass Mirrored T-Tops and Black Leather Interior. All gauges except clock do work and radio does work.
Most of this car is all original = Carpet, door panels, Dash, seats, etc. No cracks in Dash, both door panels are in great condition. Passenger seat needs a lower cover. There are heel marks on driver side carpet but other than that, carpet is in good condition. Comes with Factory Original Floor Mats. Engine was recently rebuilt by Rhodes Engines in St. Louis, MO. While I don’t have the details of all the work done to the engine, for sure top end(no planning or bored out) and gaskets, seals throughout. Car runs well, drives straight and stops straight with good brakes. Aftermarket newer Aluminum Radiator.
There are paint flaws that CAN be seen in pics and videos of car on U Tube – Classic Cars of North Texas. Rear spoiler is faded but well-polished out as well as front pace car spoilers are faded. There are some marks on spoiler and rear deck I’ve posted pics of. Also, some mico-crystaling in paint and chips in the very front portion of hood. Pic added too. Body and Frame are both clean, tight and straight. Great and newer Cooper Cobras around. New Center Caps, New Front and Rear Emblems, New Hood Insulation.
Vette could use a trans pan gasket, leaks some. And, power steering control module has mild leak. Vette has original Catalytic Converter on it.
