The Akshaya Patra Foundation USA Dallas–Fort Worth Chapter invites you to its Annual Gala on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel.
This year’s gala celebrates 17 years of the DFW Chapter’s efforts to combat childhood hunger and promote education for schoolchildren in India. The evening will bring together community members, supporters and distinguished leaders who share the mission of ensuring that hunger does not prevent a child from attending school.
Guests can look forward to dinner, entertainment, meaningful conversations and a presentation highlighting the impact made possible by the community’s support.
The featured keynote speakers are Tejal Rao, chief restaurant critic for The New York Times and contributor to The New York Times Magazine, and Ananya Prasad, the first woman of color to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
The Akshaya Patra school meal program serves more than 2.35 million children across over 24,000 schools every school day. A contribution of just $20 can help provide one child with school lunches for an entire academic year.
