Bruce Hamm
Bruce Hamm is a long-time disciple of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, beginning his studies in 1974 at the Ali Akbar College of Music.
He transitioned from sitar to sarod and formally became Khansahib’s disciple in 1981.
Bruce has taught and performed Hindustani classical music extensively across the U.S. and India.
Joanna Mack
Joanna Mack began studying Indian Classical Music in 1997 under Pt. Deepak Choudhury, later continuing under Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
She teaches and performs in the Maihar Gharana tradition and has trained with Bruce Hamm and Sri Partha Chatterjee.
Joanna is dedicated to preserving and sharing the values of North Indian classical music.
Amod Dandawate
Amod Dandawate trained under his father and Ustad Zakir Hussain, and now studies under Pt. Samir Chatterjee.
Rooted in the Farrukhabad gharana, he is known for his dynamic solo and accompaniment tabla performances.
Amod actively performs and contributes to preserving the art of classical tabla.
