“Recently, I filmed an interview plus demonstration with a master drummer from southern India who was in town for only two weeks. He was accompanied in the interview by the head of an Indian dance academy located in Berkeley (Kalanjali: Dances of India). It was fascinating and I want to make a full video with it that will fit in with my series Speaking of Rhythm. Note that I do anticipate shooting additional material. I have a couple of ideas as to how to proceed to get a good, 30 min. short out of the material but would love some comments and feedback.”
