The San Jose Woman’s Club and the Woman’s National Book Association invite families, readers and community members to the Chill Out & Read Ice Cream Social and Summer Book Fair.
Visitors can enjoy complimentary ice cream sundaes featuring Marianne’s Ice Cream while meeting around 30 Bay Area authors. A wide selection of books will be available across genres including science fiction, crime, romance, thrillers and children’s literature.
Guests can also take a guided tour of the San Jose Woman’s Club’s historic 1929 Spanish Mission Revival clubhouse, recognised as a California historic landmark.
