Mahesh Babu is known for his sense of humor and pulling the leg of people around in the shooting sets and parties.
That may bring entertainment for a few but the people who are targeted may feel bad, upset, disappointed or insulted.
When someone is successful, he can bear such treatment by taking such bullying sportively. But the problem comes when there is uncertainty or frustration looming around.
It is known that the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' team celebrated a party a couple of days ago.
Many known faces from the industry and the close friends of Mahesh Babu have attended the party. Harish Shankar decided to keep away from the party though he got the invite from the producer.
There is a backstory to this.
In a birthday party of a producer that happened sometime recently, Harish Shankar did not feel comfortable when Mahesh Babu as he made him a laughing stock cracking jokes in front of many.
Keeping that in mind, Harish wanted to avoid the 'SVP' party. But the producer made many calls and invited him with a lot of concern. Hoping that situation wouldn't be like before, Harish attended the party even though it was late.
Mahesh was ok for some time but after a few hours he started targeting Harish Shankar. He played with him by asking what happened to the film with Pawan Kalyan. Then he ridiculed him in front of everyone with his style of sarcasm and satires. He said that he would never do a film with Harish Shankar citing some laughable reasons.
All the people around in the party had no other choice than laughing for every joke of Mahesh. Taking that as an encouragement Mahesh kept on inculting Harish Shankar.
In fact, such behavior is condemnable. One should have empathy towards others irrespective of his status.
Keeping that aside, Harish Shankar is a proven director who made Gabbar Singh which the fans of Pawan Kalyan remember even now. He made Gaddalakonda Ganesh, an average budget film and made it a hit. He also made a mass commercial film 'DJ' with Allu Arjun. He may not expect special respect but certainly not the insult.
Sources say that Harish Shankar was severely hurt. A few who participated in the party also say that the producer kept on making calls to invite Harish Shankar only on the pressure of Mahesh Babu.
Well..love, hatred or insult..everything comes back in a big way. There are many complaints on Mahesh Babu in this aspect. Hope he mends himself and becomes socially correct.
