Vishwak Sen is wielding the megaphone again for his upcoming film, Dass Ka Dhamki. This is his directorial after his debut film, Falaknuma Das. The theatrical trailer for Dhamki was released by Balakrishna Nandamuri a little while ago and here's what we could make of it.
The trailer starts with the establishment of the core plot, where Rao Ramesh says his Rs 10,000 crore worth company is in trouble and it needs the right person to handle the crisis. This is when Vishwak's character is introduced. Well, he isn't the rightful heir to the company but he is deemed to be the man for the job. What follows is a tale of deceit.
Vishwak looks sharp in the trailer and he is evidently playing two contrasting characters. For subjects like these, the screenplay and the pace of the narrative will be the key.
The background score is adequate. The real standout is the visual composition. The film is lavishly shot, as suggested in the trailer. The locations are eye pleasing and the camerawork is sublime as well. We get the impression that we're watching a Tollywood mainstream star hero film.
Dhamki is getting a pan-India release next February and Vishwak is preparing the ground for the same with the unveiling of the trailer now.
