Sensational: RRR's Naatu Naatu gets best song nomination

RRR has scripted history at the mighty Oscars 2023 by becoming the first Telugu (and also obviously pan-Indian film) to have entered the Oscars nominations race.

RRR's energetic dance single Naatu Naatu has found an Oscars 2023 nomination in the Best Original song - Motion Picture category. Oscars nominations were announced a short while ago and Naatu Naatu's entry was confirmed in the same.

Naatu Naatu is now India's only entry in the Oscars 2023 and the film realistically stands a very good chance at it.

It needs to be noted that RRR's Naatu Naatu had also won the Golden Globe recently and this will help its cause at the Oscars. This could greatly help the film at the forthcoming edition of the Oscars which are scheduled to be held on the 12th of March.

RRR didn't make it to the final cut in other mainstream categories like Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and other categories. The film will now pin hopes on Naatu Naatu to go on and create more history at the Oscars.
