Nandamuri Tarakaratna called it quits for his acting career and he has landed into full-time politics now. He is maintaining an active presence in TDP now and he even took part in the launch ceremony of Nara Lokesh's Padayatra in Kuppam today.

But incidentally, Tarakaratna had a hostile start to the Padayatra as he fainted and fell down just a couple of hours after the Yatra started.

Tarakaratna was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident and the hospital management then stated that he suffered a mild heart stroke and angiogram was performed to revive his pulse.

He is doing fine now and is being shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru for more enhanced treatment. Nandamuri Balakrishna is overseeing the same now and the likes of Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram have called him through the phone to get an update on Tarakaratna's condition.

Once he is shifted to Bengaluru, he is expected to start on the road to recovery. The doctors placed a stent to regulate the pulse. Further medical care will be provided at the hospital in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, Lokesh continued on his Padayatra and he is expected to stay in Chittoor district for the next 3 days as a part of the mega walkathon.
