Allu Arjun aiming at Jr NTR, not Ram Charan?

Earlier, there were reports that Ram Charan’s RC15 and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 could be lined up for release during the 2024 Sankranthi season. But as it turns out, Pushpa 2 has opted out of the Sankranthi race.

Apparently, the makers of Pushpa 2 want to give as much time as needed for Sukumar and Allu Arjun to work on Pushpa 2.

So the makers have decided to call off the Sankranthi plan and instead go with summer 2024 plan.

If that is the case, Pushpa 2 could be aiming the end of March or early April slot. This would mean that the film could be clashing with Jr NTR’s NTR30 which is already announced for release on the 5th of April.

If Pushpa 2 does again Summer 2024 slot, then the optimal release period is March or April so a clash with NTR30 looks inevitable.

In that case, the NTR and Allu Arjun starrers could be releasing with just a week or two’s gap. This will ultimately depend on the pace of the production so we can’t draw conclusions already.

As for RC15, this film could be clashing with Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s Project K next Sankranthi season.
