Young hero Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual project Custody directed by leading filmmaker Venkat Prabhu is getting ready for release as one of the major attractions in the summer. Meanwhile, promotional activities are happening in full swing for the movie.
The wait is over. After creating curiosity with the teaser tease, the makers arrived with the teaser.
The teaser begins with Naga Chaitanya’s voiceover saying the wounded heart can push a man any far. He says it pushed him towards war. Death is in pursuit of him, but he is not bothered to know where it comes from, because he wields a weapon called truth. “Truth is conviction… Truth is legion… Yes… That truth is in my custody,” says he.
Naga Chaitanya aced it with his wonderful performance. Krithi Shetty looked cool as his girlfriend. Arvind Swami brings that extra intensity to the character with his villainy acts. Sarathkumar and the other actors looked convincing in their respective roles.
The genius Venkat Prabhu who always opts for novel stories is coming up with yet another first-of-its-kind concept. Without disclosing much about the plotline, he literally intrigues us with whatever was shown in the teaser.
SR Kathir’s camera work is impeccable, while the background score by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja duo helps to elevate the emotions and the pain the protagonist goes through. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi deserve a special mention.
The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen with high production values and technical standards, which can be noticeable in the teaser. Pavan Kumar is presenting this ambitious project. This gripping teaser surely hikes the buzz.
