Amazon, Netflix fighting for Pushpa 2 OTT rights?

Amazon Prime Video had a dream run with Pushpa which greatly boosted the reach and penetration of the OTT giant. Pushpa is one of the biggest OTT blockbusters in the Indian OTT space and it had a dream run there.

Now, there's naturally a lot of anticipation on the OTT deal of Pushpa 2, given the kind of mass hype and the expectations on the project.

We are now hearing that Pushpa 2's OTT rights are now being fiercely contested by Amazon Prime who already have Pushpa's rights, and another international player Netflix.

As per the latest reports, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Pushpa 2 are being valued at Rs 200 crores by these two OTT giants.

It is being reported that Netflix has already offered Rs 200 crores for the OTT rights of Pushpa 2 and they are ready to close the deal at the earliest. But there's some last minute negotiation going on from the side of the producers.

But for now, Pushpa 2's post theatrical OTT streaming rights could be sold for a whopping price of over Rs 200 crores.
