Director Bobby scored a blockbuster hit with Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya which went on a rampant run at the box office this Sankranthi season. This film's success has greatly helped Bobhy and he is projecting as a top league filmmaker now. 

As per the latest reports, Bobby is on the cusp of materializing a very interesting collaboration that would mark the coming together of himself and Rajinikanth.

Directing a veteran superstar like Rajini right after doing a film with Chiranjeevi is no joke and Bobby is getting to live his dream now with these back to back projects.

But this project is in early stages of the contemplation and there's no official word on the same. We should wait for it before drawing conclusions. 

What this also does is that it ups Bobby's stakes at producers. He could very well be charging in upwards of Rs 10 crores per project now. This will suit him very well.

Also, we are hearing that Bobby is penning a script for Ram Charan and this might happen after his film wth Rajini.
