Filmmakers Appireddy, Venkat Annapareddy and Ravinder Reddy Sajjala have made a name for themselves as passionate producers by producing various films under the banner of Mic Movies. Another new concept movie produced by them is 'Mr Pregnant'. Directed by Srinivas Vinjanampati, 'Mr Pregnant' starring Syed Sohel Ryan and Roopa Kodavayur is releasing on 18th of this month. This movie is being released in Nizam area by Mythri Movie Distributors, a leading distribution company. Producers Appireddy, Venkat Annapareddy and Ravinder Reddy Sajjala interacted with media today about the film 'Mr. Pregnant'.
Producer Appireddy said - We are making sure that every movie is new in our production Mic Movies. If the audience likes it, we are making movies with stories with nativity. Be it Slum Dog Husband which came in our company recently, or this movie 'Mr Pregnant', we have produced the film after finding novelty in the script. I like the mother sentiment in this story. But some friends in the industry said that this movie is like a double edged sword, because of the theme of male pregnancy. It is a challenging script and we went ahead. We watched the movie recently and the output came as we expected. Mythri Movie Distributors saw the film recently and they said that the movie was very good. That increased our confidence. Shravan Bharadwaj's music will be the attraction of our movie. We want to do films with big heroes in our company. But they are all busy with committed projects. We are trying to approach them with a script and it is difficult. Even if they like it, we have to wait for two or three years. Why wait when we have a script that we like? If you wait more time then there are chances that the script will be out of date. But if everything is possible for us, we will definitely make films with big heroes. We don't think we can do one or two films. We set the banner to produce movies in a settled manner for a few years. Now four to five films are in the pipeline. Two films are currently in the making. That's why we are learning many things in production with a long goal. No one should make films to give the film to OTT. We say with our experience that producing should be done only if there is strength to release in theatre. If they don't like the OTT of our movie, there will be no chance of releasing it. Producer Venkat Annapareddy said - We have successfully released four films in our production so far. We are selecting good stories. But when you hear the story, there is a budget. When the making is done, it will go to another number. We think this is the main problem in making. We are trying to overcome it. First, we thought of different heroes for the movie 'Mr. Pregnant'. But when we saw Sohel in BiggBoss who was impressively showed the emotion and strategy in those games. We thought that he would be a good hero for this story. He looks good in this movie. Male pregnant character is very unique. This movie should not be seen in commercial movie format. Many people have shared their experiences with us after watching 'Mr Pregnant'. Lot of them said that they should have taken better care of thier wife during her pregnancy. So it becomes a film that makes them think personally.
Producer Ravinder Reddy Sajjala said - Under our banner, we are making films with three passionate producers. We have no differences between us. If someone says corrections in our work, we will check it. Nagarjuna garu released our trailer of 'Mr. Pregnant' and gave a good boost. Also he saw the trailer once again in that event. As the response to the trailer was good, there was a buzz about the movie. A movie with such a story has not come out in Telugu. Even if it comes in English, it was done experimentally or based on comedy. After we started this movie, this type of movie came in Bollywood. But 'Mr Pregnant' is unique. Audience will enjoy the movie with emotions and entertainment.
