Humiliation: JSP Getting Less Votes Than NOTA

05 Dec 2023 01:42 AM

Despite a whirlwind quick-fire campaign from Pawan Kalyan, Janasena is having an agonizingly poor election in Telangana. Let alone opening the account, the party is struggling to get deposits in 7 out of the 8 constituencies it is contesting.

In Aswaraopeta, Janasena is putting on a horror show as the party candidate M. Uma Devi has polled fewer votes than NOTA.

The breakdown of votes in Aswaraopeta is as below:

#Aswaraopeta
After Third Round,
Congress: 15502 Votes
BRS: 10405 Votes
Janasena: 398 Votes
NOTA: 456 Votes

NOTA getting more votes than JSP is ringing danger bells for the party in Telangana. Did Pawan Kalyan make a mistake by even deciding to field JSP in Telangana? The numbers are suggesting so.
