'Ponniyin Selvan' actor Jayam Ravi is gearing up for the release of a pakka action commercial movie 'Siren' on February 23rd. Debutant director Anthony Bhagyaraj has wielded the megaphone. The Telugu release rights have been bagged by Ganga Entertainments' Maheswara Reddy Mooli. Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran played the female leads. The film's teaser is out & grabbed attention.

On the occasion producer Sujatha Vijayakumar said that 'Siren' has been made as a mega-budget action thriller with family elements. Actor Jayam Ravi is seen in a never-seen-before role with two different looks. Star heroine Keerthy Suresh and Anupama have teamed up with the talented actor for the first time.

Actor Samuthirakani, known for many Telugu films, said, "Jayam Ravi has a bigger space awaiting his talent. He can act in 100 more films. We shared screen space in the past already."

Composer GV Prakash said, "Jayam Ravi has acted very maturely. This year has started well for me. Only a few would ask me for melodious songs like this film."

Director Anthony Bhagyaraj said, "This movie is like a dream for me. A new director's film with a big hero must become a hit. Jayam Ravi took the responsibility of making this film a hit. I love GV anna's melodies. He is the only musician I know who always inspires me. He has given 20 tunes for this film."

Actor Jayam Ravi said, "Emotion is very important in this film and it is important to bring it to the screen. We wanted GV to do it. GV is one of India's greatest Music Directors. The female lead is strong in this film. We thought Keerthy would be right and she proved it. People will see director Anthony Bhagyaraj on many more platforms in the future. The hard work of the director is the reason for the success of the film, I have played dual roles with little difficulty in this film.
