Versatile actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is a known face to the Telugu audience as she was seen in super popular films like Krack and Veera Simha Reddy. She is now coming up with her first female-driven film in Telugu, titled Sabari. The film is directed by Anil Katz and produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla and presented by Maharshi Kondla under Maha Movies banner. The theatrical trailer for the film was unveiled today and it promises a thrilling actioner.
On the occasion, Varalaxmi said "This is my first time doing a female drive film in Telugu and I am very excited about it. I am sure that Sabari will offer a thrilling experience to the viewers. I am amazed by our producer Mahendra Nath garu for doing such a lavish scaled female driven film with me. I hope this film will be as big of a hit as HanuMan. This film is a straightforward thriller and it will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to end. This is a wonderful script and the film shaped up extremely well."
Varun Sandesh said he attended the event out of his rapport with the producer Mahendra Nath. "I worked with many producers in the past but the kind of respect Mahendra Nath garu gives for everyone is unparalleled. I worked with Varalaxmi for Michael. I hope our audience lap up this film."

Varalaxmi is a gem of an actress and a great human being. We did a 15-day schedule in Kodaikanal with 100 people and Varalaxmi fell sick then. But she still completed the schedule to avoid losses to myself as the producer. Our film will greatly excite the audience and the film is releasing on May 3rd. I am confident that it will impress you all".
