Anirudh’s work on Devara faces backlash

Sensational music director Anirudh Ravichander, renowned for his blockbuster tunes, recently ventured into the Telugu film industry with "Devara: Part 1." The film, featuring Jr. NTR and Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor, is directed by Koratala Siva and is set for release on September 27, 2024, in multiple languages.

However, Anirudh’s work on "Devara" has faced criticism. The first single, "Fear Song," has been compared to the "Badass Song" from "Leo," while the second track, "Chuttamalle," is said to resemble "Manike Mage Hithe" by Yohani. These similarities have sparked controversy, with fans noting the resemblances.

Despite the backlash, Jr. NTR’s fans have shown strong support for the tracks. Nonetheless, it is crucial for Anirudh to reflect and prioritize originality in his future compositions. Fans and critics alike hope to see him bounce back with fresh, distinctive music that reaffirms his reputation as a creative genius.
