As the year draws to a close, excitement is building for the upcoming releases, particularly for Varun Dhawan’s much-anticipated film, Baby John. This official remake of Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee’s 2016 Tamil blockbuster, Theri, is directed by Kalees and is set for a worldwide release on December 25.
To kick off the promotional campaign, the makers have released the “Taster Cut” teaser, which introduces Varun Dhawan in two striking getups: one as an honest and tough police officer and the other as a rugged rookie. The visuals showcase him looking stunning in both roles, and the teaser provides glimpses of high-octane action sequences, hinting that Baby John may be the biggest action film of Varun’s career to date.
The teaser also gives a sneak peek of the film’s heroines, Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. Notably, this film marks Keerthy’s Bollywood debut, adding an extra layer of excitement for her fans. The background score by Thaman is electrifying, though some moments feel a bit loud.
Overall, Baby John appears to be a stylish reimagining of Theri, and anticipation is high to see if it will deliver the big hit Varun Dhawan is aiming for. Produced by Atlee, Jio Studios, and Cine1 Studios, this film is shaping up to be a significant release in the upcoming holiday season, making it a must-watch for action film enthusiasts.
