Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has officially begun filming for her much-anticipated action-thriller movie "Gandhari", reuniting her with writer-producer Kanika Dhillon. The duo previously collaborated on the hit films "Haseen Dillruba" (2021) and its follow-up "Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba", which was released earlier this year. Dhillon has also worked on the scripts for other successful films featuring Pannu, including "Manmarziyaan" (2018) and "Rashmi Rocket" (2021).

Directed by Devashish Makhija, known for his critically acclaimed films like "Ajji", "Bhonsle", and "Joram" (starring Manoj Bajpayee), "Gandhari" is a gripping action-thriller with a script penned by Dhillon. The film, which was first announced in September, will delve into the profound bond between mother and child, adding a unique emotional layer to the action-packed narrative.

Pannu shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting pictures from the set alongside Kanika Dhillon and Devashish Makhija. She included a heartfelt message in her post, drawing inspiration from the character's strength and determination:

"Dear God, grant my request so that I may never deviate from doing good deeds. That, I shall have no fear of the enemy when I go into battle, and with determination, I will be victorious. That, I may teach my mind to only sing your praises. And when the time comes, I should die fighting heroically on the field of battle."

"Gandhari" is the second project under Kanika Dhillon's banner, Kathha Pictures, following the success of "Do Patti", which starred Kriti Sanon and Kajol. Fans of Taapsee Pannu and Dhillon’s previous collaborations are eagerly awaiting what promises to be another thrilling cinematic experience.
