Selena Gomez has finally addressed albeit subtly the growing cheating rumors involving her fiancé Benny Blanco and former assistant-turned-friend Theresa Marie Mingus. The singer-actress posted a heartfelt Instagram Story on Friday, May 2, showing Blanco in a candid and wholesome moment with his nephew and their pet dog, bringing a fresh wave of relief to fans who were concerned about the couple’s relationship. In the image, Benny Blanco is seen sitting comfortably on the floor, playing with his young nephew, while Selena’s furry friend nestles into the frame. The innocent moment captures a slice of daily life and warmth a far cry from the speculation that’s been dominating social media in recent weeks.

The simple but telling post seemingly puts to rest the swirling rumors that have suggested tensions between Selena and Benny, sparked by a viral TikTok clip that showed Benny Blanco having dinner with Theresa Mingus at a Los Angeles restaurant. The video led to widespread fan speculation, with many wondering if Blanco had been unfaithful. Others claimed the dinner might have been an innocent outing, possibly to plan a surprise for Selena. While neither Gomez nor Blanco has issued a direct statement addressing the allegations, the Instagram story speaks volumes. The timing of the post after days of media frenzy and online debates appears to be Selena’s way of dismissing the controversy and affirming her ongoing commitment to Benny.

The cheating rumors began picking up steam after Daily Mail reported on the TikTok video featuring Benny and Theresa dining together. Fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok to dissect the footage, trying to gauge the nature of their relationship.

The drama intensified when eagle-eyed followers noticed that Selena had unfollowed Theresa Mingus on Instagram. Although Theresa continues to follow both Selena and Benny, the unfollow from Selena sparked further rumors of a possible rift. For fans familiar with their long-standing bond, this move added a layer of confusion. Just months ago, on March 10, Selena and Theresa were seen having a great time at a birthday party, alongside mutual friend Anna Collins. Photos from that event, shared by Theresa, showed the trio laughing and posing for playful group shots.

Despite the public’s interest, both Theresa and Benny have chosen to remain silent on the matter. There have been no clarifications, denials, or confirmations from any of the parties involved. However, Selena’s latest story, offering a glimpse into their private, intimate life, may be her most effective response yet. By showcasing Benny’s sweet side one that’s clearly family-oriented and affectionate Selena appears to be sending a strong message of trust and togetherness.

Inside Selena and Benny’s Love Story
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco confirmed their relationship in late 2023 after months of speculation. The couple went public with their engagement in December, sharing glimpses of their romance through interviews and social media interactions.

Benny has been vocal about his admiration for Selena. In a candid interview on the Table Manners podcast, he revealed a sweet moment from one of their early dates. Describing their first kiss, he said, “I kissed her right away and… her heart started beating so quickly, and she started getting a rash on her face, and she was so nervous.” The anecdote not only highlighted the sincerity of their connection but also drew appreciation from fans who loved seeing Selena truly happy.
As one of Hollywood’s most followed celebrities, Selena Gomez often finds her personal life under a microscope. But she’s no stranger to the spotlight or the scrutiny that comes with it. Over the years, she’s handled relationship speculation with dignity and restraint, often choosing subtle gestures over public confrontations and this time is no different.

Her choice to share a cozy, homely moment with Benny in the middle of a media storm speaks volumes about where they stand as a couple. It’s a gentle reminder that not everything requires a press release or an interview sometimes, a picture really is worth a thousand words. With engagement still fresh and fans eagerly anticipating possible wedding news, Gomez and Blanco continue to keep most details of their relationship private, choosing to share only select moments. And if this latest post is anything to go by, their love appears to be as strong and authentic as ever.
