Shirish Reddy Apologizes to Mega Fans Over Controversial Remarks

In a recent controversy, Shirish Reddy, the brother of producer Dil Raju, found himself at the center of a backlash from Mega fans after comments he made regarding the film Game Changer. During an interview, Shirish claimed that the film, starring Ram Charan, had caused significant losses for their production house. He also stated that neither Charan nor the director, Shankar, had offered any help or even a courtesy call after the film's poor performance at the box office.

These remarks angered Mega fans, who strongly criticized Shirish and Dil Raju for speaking negatively about Game Changer, a film with a massive fanbase. The backlash quickly spread online, with many fans warning Shirish not to comment on the film again.

In response to the criticism, Shirish Reddy issued an apology, expressing regret for his words. He said, “My words have hurt Mega fans, and I’m sorry. Ram Charan gave his full effort and time to the project.” He further emphasized the strong bond his family shares with Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family, clarifying that there was never any intention to target any Mega hero.

Shirish's apology aimed to mend the relationship with Mega fans and clear up any misunderstandings caused by his earlier statements. The apology was well-received by many, but the incident has sparked conversations about the dynamics within the Telugu film industry and the responsibility of filmmakers and producers when discussing the successes and failures of their projects.
