Vishwambhara to Sankranthi 2026: Chiranjeevi's Film Calendar Is Fully Booked

Megastar Chiranjeevi seems unstoppable as he charges ahead with a slate of powerful films lined up back-to-back. After his grand comeback in Khaidi No. 150, fans expected a string of hits, but the mixed reception to Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy shifted his trajectory. Learning from past missteps, Chiranjeevi appears to be re-strategizing his career to maintain momentum without letting setbacks slow him down.

Chiranjeevi is in the final stages of shooting for Vishwambhara, a much-anticipated film aiming for a theatrical release anywhere between Dusshera and December 2025. Simultaneously, he is also filming a commercial entertainer with director Anil Ravipudi, which is already locked for a Sankranthi 2026 release. With positive pre-release buzz, the Chiru-Anil film is expected to keep his box office dominance intact regardless of how Vishwambhara performs.

Adding to the excitement, Chiranjeevi has officially signed a new film with Dasara director Srikanth Odela. Touted as one of his most intense and violent roles yet, the announcement of this collaboration has taken industry insiders by surprise. However, with Srikanth currently occupied with his project The Paradise, this film will only go on floors after summer next year.

In the meantime, Chiranjeevi is planning to reunite with director KS Ravindra, popularly known as Bobby, who delivered a hit with Waltair Veerayya. This film is expected to kick off before Srikanth Odela becomes available, ensuring that the megastar continues to maintain a steady flow of projects.

With these four films lined up over the next three to four years, Chiranjeevi is clearly picking up speed, determined to bypass the speed breakers of his career. If even a couple of these films strike gold at the box office, the megastar could well be on track for another decade of dominance in Telugu cinema. Fans can expect non-stop entertainment and powerful performances as Chiru reclaims his space at the top.
