Vijay Deverakonda Shares Emotional Note On Kingdom's Success After Strong Opening

Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film Kingdom has taken the box office by storm with an impressive opening. In the U.S., the film earned nearly $900K from premiere shows, marking one of the best openings for a Telugu film in recent times. This massive success is especially significant given the underperformance of Vijay's recent films, making the achievement even more gratifying for the actor. The film’s strong performance in India, coupled with the outstanding figures from international markets, further solidifies its widespread appeal.

Producer Naga Vamsi acknowledged that there were a few minor issues in the second half of the film, but emphasized that the audience overall had a positive response. He also highlighted the surprise contribution from Rayalaseema, which accounted for 40% of the Day 1 collections, a remarkable feat for the region. The team is optimistic about Kingdom's future performance, projecting a worldwide gross of Rs. 35–40 crore on its opening day.

Vijay Deverakonda, overwhelmed by the love and support from fans, took to social media to express his gratitude. He shared an emotional note, thanking everyone for their encouragement and support, especially in light of the challenges faced in recent times. He plans to meet fans both in the U.S. and the Telugu states to celebrate the film’s success and share the joy with those who made it possible.

Vijay also took the opportunity to thank director NTR for his unwavering support during the making of the film. Co-star Satyadev also expressed his excitement and happiness over the film's success, sharing in the collective joy of the entire team. With such a strong opening, Kingdom is set to continue its successful run, becoming one of the year’s most talked-about Telugu films.
