Thama: Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin's Spooky First Looks Unveiled

After weeks of excitement and anticipation, the makers of the highly awaited Bollywood film Thama have finally revealed the first looks of its leading stars, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The horror-comedy, set to release this Diwali, brings a mix of vampires, humor, and Indian mythology, marking a fresh take in the genre.

The official posters unveiled on Monday showcased Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, a character described as "Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed" (the last hope of humanity). Alongside him, Rashmika Mandanna steps into the fierce role of Tadaka, noted for her intriguing description as "Roshni ki ek hi paheli kiran" (the only riddle of light). Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes on the role of Yakshasan, a vampire with a shadowy past, referred to as "Andhere ka Badshah" (King of Darkness). In addition to the character reveals, the makers teased fans with a major update titled "The World of Thama," set to drop on August 19 at 11:11 am.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced under the Maddock Films banner, Thama presents a genre-bending narrative that blends elements of comedy, horror, and mythology. Inspired by Ashwatthama, the immortal warrior from the Mahabharata, the film explores the origins of vampirism in Indian folklore. The plot follows a historian, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, who embarks on a journey to uncover the mythological roots of vampires. Set across two timelines, modern-day India and the ancient kingdom of Vijayanagar, Thama weaves a haunting tale of unfulfilled love.

The film, also starring Paresh Rawal as the comical Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, promises a unique cinematic experience, offering a mix of humor, horror, and a deep dive into Indian mythology. Fans eagerly await the release of Thama this Diwali 2025, with its first looks and storyline already sparking major excitement.
