CM Revanth Reddy Felicitates Tollywood’s National Award Winners, Pledges Support for Cinema
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy continues his push to elevate Hyderabad as a central hub for Indian cinema. His commitment to supporting the film industry was once again demonstrated as he felicitated the National Film Award winners from the Telugu film industry. The event, held at his residence, was attended by some of the most talented personalities from Tollywood who had recently been honored at the prestigious national awards.
During the ceremony, CM Revanth emphasized the importance of Hyderabad becoming a global cinematic center. He reaffirmed his commitment to providing the necessary resources and support to further the growth of the film industry in the region.
Addressing Challenges in the Film Industry
As part of the event, the award winners highlighted some of the challenges the film industry faces today. In response, CM Revanth assured the gathering that his government would extend all possible cooperation to tackle these issues and facilitate the growth of the Telugu film industry in Hyderabad.
The National Film Award recipients honored during the event included Anil Ravipudi, director of the film Bhagavanth Kesari; Prashanth Varma, director of HanuMan; Venkatesh and Srinivas for their contributions to visual effects in HanuMan; Nandu and Prithvi, fight masters; Sai Rajesh, director of Baby; and singer Rohit, who performed the hit song Premistunna. The ceremony was also attended by the producers of the films HanuMan (Chaitanya Reddy and Niranjan Reddy), Baby (SKN), and Bhagavanth Kesari (Garapati Sahu), all of whom shared their thoughts on the bright future of the industry in the state.
