National Award-winning actor Dhanush, fresh from the success of KUBERAA, is now gearing up for the release of his next directorial venture, Idli Kottu. Produced by Akash Baskaran and Dhanush under Dawn Pictures and Wunderbar Films, the film has already generated strong hype through its teasers and posters. Scheduled for release on October 1, Idli Kottu will hit screens in both Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.

The Telugu rights witnessed intense competition, with multiple buyers in the race. Eventually, Sri Vedakshara Movies, headed by Ramarao Chintapalli, secured the rights for a record price – the highest in Dhanush’s career so far. This ensures that Idli Kottu will enjoy its largest Telugu release ever. Producer Ramarao Chintapalli expressed pride in presenting the film, thanking Dhanush and his team for trusting their banner.

Idli Kottu features a stellar cast with Nithya Menen playing the female lead, alongside Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran in crucial roles. On the technical front, G.V. Prakash Kumar provides the music, Kiran Koushik handles cinematography, Prasanna G.K. takes charge of editing, Jackie is the art director, and Peter Hein choreographs the action sequences.

With Dhanush’s fourth directorial film promising a blend of strong performances, gripping storytelling, and technical finesse, Idli Kottu is poised to make a major impact at the box office.
