Baahubali Re-Release Sets New Standard in IMAX, Dolby & 4DX Formats

Baahubali, the iconic Indian cinematic franchise, is making a powerful comeback—this time in a form that's breaking new ground for Pan-India films. Titled "Baahubali: The Epic", this recut and reimagined version of the two-part saga is condensed into a single film and is set for a worldwide release on October 31, 2025.

What truly sets this re-release apart is its multi-format launch, a rare feat even for today’s blockbuster films. Audiences can experience Baahubali in premium formats such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, DBox, EpiQ, ICE, and PCX. These formats promise elevated visual and audio quality, motion-enhanced experiences, and theatre-specific innovations—making this the most immersive Baahubali experience to date.

In recent years, audiences have grown more selective, especially when paying premium ticket prices for formats like IMAX or Dolby Vision. Most Pan-India films fail to deliver simultaneously across such a wide spectrum of formats. However, with SS Rajamouli’s commitment to cinematic excellence, this re-release is setting a new industry benchmark. The production team is working meticulously to ensure timely and seamless delivery of content across all platforms and languages—something that's become increasingly rare in Indian cinema's rapidly expanding global footprint.

Baahubali: The Epic features the original star cast—Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah—and retains the legendary MM Keeravani’s music, promising the same emotional intensity and grandeur that made the original a phenomenon.

This re-release also comes ahead of Rajamouli's next big project, a globetrotting action-adventure with Mahesh Babu, slated for 2027. Until then, Baahubali: The Epic is poised to reignite the theatrical magic and remind audiences why Rajamouli's vision continues to set the gold standard.
