Malavika Mohanan Clarifies She Is Not Part of Chiranjeevi’s Next Film with Bobby Kolli

Megastar Chiranjeevi is teaming up once again with director Bobby Kolli for their next big venture, Mega158, following the massive success of Waltair Veerayya in 2023. The film, announced on Chiranjeevi’s birthday with a concept poster, is set to begin production in December 2025 and is eyeing a grand release by the end of 2026. Backed by KVN Productions, the movie promises to be a full-fledged mass entertainer.

Recently, rumors circulated online suggesting that actress Malavika Mohanan had been cast in a significant role in Mega158. However, the actress took to social media to deny the reports, clarifying that she is not part of the project. Malavika expressed her admiration for Chiranjeevi, saying she hopes to work with the Megastar in the future but confirmed that the current reports are untrue.

Malavika Mohanan is busy with her much-anticipated Telugu debut The Raja Saab, co-starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi. The horror drama is slated for release on January 9, 2026, in multiple languages. On the other hand, Bobby Kolli, whose recent directorial Daaku Maharaaj starring Nandamuri Balakrishna hit theaters earlier this year, is all set to begin his next with Chiranjeevi soon, with more details about the cast and crew expected in the coming weeks.
