Rowdy Janardhana glimpse release date confirmed, Vijay Deverakonda’s film update

Rowdy Janardhana glimpse release date confirmed, Vijay Deverakonda’s film update

Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy shooting for his upcoming rustic rural action drama Rowdy Janardhana, which is steadily progressing at a fast pace. The film is directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Launched in October, the project moved straight into regular shooting without any delays, with the team completing multiple schedules efficiently and preparing to unveil the first promotional content.

Although the makers are yet to officially announce the title, it is widely known that the film will be titled Rowdy Janardhana. As part of the promotional strategy, the team is planning to release a special title glimpse that will also introduce Vijay Deverakonda’s character. The title hints at a powerful and intense role, with the film said to revolve around strong emotional elements, including love and romance. While earlier reports suggested that the glimpse would be unveiled on December 18 at Prasads Multiplex in Hyderabad, it has now been confirmed that the glimpse will be released on Monday, December 22, at a single-screen theatre in Hyderabad. An official announcement regarding the glimpse release is expected on December 18, coinciding with producer Dil Raju’s birthday.

Despite simultaneously shooting for another film directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Vijay Deverakonda has reportedly given top priority to Rowdy Janardhana. The decision is largely due to the film’s faster production pace, while the other project involves extensive visual effects work. Rowdy Janardhana is expected to be Vijay Deverakonda’s next immediate theatrical release, with the makers targeting a Dussehra 2026 release window. Given that Vijay’s recent films have not performed up to expectations, the upcoming glimpse holds significant importance in generating excitement among audiences and the trade. The film stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead, with music composed by Christo Xavier and cinematography handled by Anand C. Chandran, adding strong technical support to this much-anticipated project.
