Thottam Poster Unveils Keerthy Suresh’s Fierce Avatar In A Dark Action Thriller

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam action thriller Thottam have unveiled a striking new poster that sets a dark, intense tone for the film and instantly grabs attention. Headlined by National Award-winning actor Keerthy Suresh, the poster offers a gritty glimpse into a world driven by chaos, violence, and confrontation. Released as a New Year reveal, the visual has generated early buzz and positioned Thottam as one of the most intriguing Malayalam projects gearing up for 2026.

The poster features Keerthy Suresh in a fierce and enigmatic avatar, far removed from her conventional on-screen image. Dressed in a vintage brown outfit, she stands alone on a fog-laden cobblestone street strewn with broken bottles, creating an atmosphere of tension and unease. In her hands, she holds a shattered, bloodied wine glass and a worn leather bag, visual elements that hint at a violent past and an unfolding storm. In the background, shadowy figures appear locked in a brutal clash, reinforcing the sense of danger that surrounds her character. The imagery suggests a narrative steeped in rebellion, survival, and raw intensity.

Written and directed by Rishi Sivakumar, Thottam promises a high-octane action thriller rooted in darkness and emotional grit. The makers introduced the poster with a powerful message that signals the film’s bold mood and fearless tone, indicating that the story will not shy away from uncomfortable or intense themes. The project also marks the first on-screen collaboration between Keerthy Suresh and Antony Varghese, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film. Antony Varghese, known for his raw energy and intense performances, is expected to complement the film’s aggressive narrative style.

Production for Thottam is scheduled to begin in early 2026, as previously confirmed by the team. The film is being produced by Monu Pazhedath, A.V. Anoop, Novel Vindhyan, and Simmy Rajeevan under the banners of AVA Productions, First Page Entertainment, and Maargaa Entertainers. On the technical front, cinematography will be handled by George C. Williams, whose visual style is expected to enhance the film’s gritty atmosphere. Music and background score are being composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, adding further weight to the film’s dark and intense tone.

Keerthy Suresh was last seen in Revolver Rita and recently made her Bollywood debut opposite Varun Dhawan in Baby John, while Antony Varghese was last seen in the sports action drama Daveed and has Kattalan and I’m Game lined up next. With its striking first poster, powerful casting, and dark thematic promise, Thottam is shaping up to be a bold and uncompromising action thriller that could showcase Keerthy Suresh in one of her most intense roles to date.
