Malayalam actor Santhosh Nair tragically passed away on May 5, 2026, following a severe road accident in Enathu, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. The accident occurred when the car he was traveling in collided with an incoming lorry. His wife, Shubhashree, was also injured in the crash, while the lorry driver sustained injuries as well.
Despite being rushed to the hospital for treatment, Santhosh Nair suffered a heart attack during his medical care and succumbed to his condition. His sudden death has left the Malayalam film industry and his fans in shock.
