The first weekend has now become extremely important for Peddi. A huge opening alone is not enough for a big-budget film to become a box office success, especially when the talk is slightly mixed. The film needs strong numbers on Saturday and Sunday to maintain momentum and move closer to recovering its theatrical business. Holiday advantage in some centres and advance bookings are expected to help the film during the weekend. However, the real test will begin from Monday, when regular weekday collections will show whether Peddi has genuine audience support beyond the initial fan rush. If the film manages a steady hold after the weekend, it will be in a strong position to emerge as a major commercial success.

While Peddi is performing very well in the Telugu states, its long-term success will depend on how strongly it performs outside its core market. Karnataka has delivered decent numbers so far, but the film needs better contributions from North India, Tamil Nadu and overseas regions to strengthen its overall box office position. For a film carrying pan-India expectations, wider acceptance is crucial. If Peddi picks up momentum in non-Telugu markets and sustains well through the weekdays, the Rs 115 crore-plus opening could become the beginning of a much bigger box office run.
