Rajinikanth's Dharman First Look Creates Massive Buzz Across Tamil Cinema
Chennai: One of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema has finally received its official title. Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film, previously referred to as Thalaivar 173, has been titled Dharman. The announcement was made by the filmmakers through an eye-catching first-look poster that instantly became a talking point among fans and film enthusiasts.
The poster introduces Rajinikanth in a striking new role as a surgeon, dressed in medical attire inside a dramatic operation theatre. However, the intense atmosphere and dark visual tone suggest that there is much more to the character than meets the eye. Accompanied by the intriguing tagline "The Deadly Doctor," the first look hints at a storyline that blends action, suspense and powerful emotions.
The image portrays Rajinikanth as a character who may balance the responsibilities of saving lives while confronting dangerous forces. The title Dharman itself evokes themes of justice, righteousness and moral responsibility, all of which have been central themes in several of the superstar's most memorable films. A Dream Team Comes Together for Dharman
Dharman marks a landmark collaboration between two of Tamil cinema's most influential personalities. The film is being produced by Kamal Haasan's prestigious production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, bringing together two legendary stars through a highly anticipated project.
The film will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the filmmaker behind successful movies such as Oh My Kadavule and Dragon. His appointment has generated excitement among audiences who are eager to see his vision for a large-scale Rajinikanth entertainer. Reports indicate that Ashwath replaced director Cibi Chakaravarthi during the development phase of the project.
Adding further star power to the production, popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander will create the soundtrack. Anirudh has delivered several chart-topping albums for Rajinikanth films and fans are expecting another memorable musical experience. The action sequences will be designed by acclaimed stunt choreographers Anbariv, known for creating visually spectacular and high-energy fight scenes.
The regular shooting schedule for Dharman is set to begin on June 25, marking the official start of production. With Rajinikanth leading the project, Kamal Haasan backing the film, Ashwath Marimuthu directing and Anirudh composing the music, Dharman has already emerged as one of the most awaited Tamil films in recent years.
