According to an entertainment report published on Tuesday, July 21, the actor was taken to a hospital after the incident, where doctors reportedly identified a ligament tear and advised a minor surgical procedure. No official medical bulletin or production-house statement was cited in the initial report.
Balakrishna Injury Reported During Kakinada Action Shoot
The latest schedule of NBK 111 was planned across Kakinada Port and Rajahmundry Central Jail from July 17 to July 23. The unit was reportedly filming a fight scene when Balakrishna sustained the injury. He was moved for medical evaluation soon after, and the report said he may need minor surgery followed by several weeks of rest.
The exact seriousness of the injury and the recovery period will become clear only after an official update from the actor’s representatives, doctors or the production team. Until then, details about the procedure and his return date remain unconfirmed.
