Ravi Mohan has renamed his debut production Bro Code as Bro Club following months of legal complications over the original title. The actor also shared new updates on the film and his directorial debut, An Ordinary Man.

Actor Ravi Mohan has officially changed the title of his maiden production venture Bro Code to Bro Club after the film faced months of legal complications over its original name.

The actor-producer confirmed the new title during a recent interaction with Cinema Vikatan. Explaining the decision in a light-hearted manner, Ravi Mohan indicated that he preferred avoiding further disputes and moving ahead with the project. Actor Yogi Babu, who was also present during the conversation, jokingly supported the new title, adding a humorous touch to the announcement.

The development brings clarity to a project that had attracted considerable attention because of its title dispute. Bro Club is particularly significant for Ravi Mohan as it marks his first production under his banner Ravi Mohan Studios. Ravi Mohan also revealed that two shooting schedules have already been completed. Two more schedules remain, with portions of the upcoming film expected to be filmed at international locations.

The film became involved in a legal dispute after the makers announced it under the title Bro Code. A trademark challenge emerged because an alcoholic beverage brand was already operating under the same name.

The dispute subsequently reached the courts, with proceedings involving both the Madras High Court and the Delhi High Court. After legal developments and a settlement between the parties, the filmmakers decided to move forward under the new title Bro Club. By changing the name, Ravi Mohan and his team appear to have cleared one of the biggest hurdles surrounding the production and can now focus on completing the remaining schedules.

The film was originally announced in August 2025 and is directed by Karthik Yogi, known for films including Dikkiloona and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy. Ravi Mohan will share screen space with SJ Suryah for the first time. Speaking about his co-star, Ravi Mohan praised SJ Suryah and described working with him as an enjoyable experience.

Bro Club features a notable ensemble cast led by Ravi Mohan and SJ Suryah. Malayalam actor Arjun Ashokan will make his Tamil cinema debut through the project. Shraddha Srinath, Sri Gouri Priya and Malavika Manoj play the female leads, while Upendra Limaye and Aishwarya Raj are also part of the supporting cast.

The film's early promotional material suggested that the storyline revolves around three men who come together because of dissatisfaction in their respective relationships. The concept is expected to blend relationship-based situations with comedy and entertainment.

Harshavardhan Rameshwar is composing the music, while Kalaiselvan Sivaji handles cinematography. Pradeep E Ragav serves as editor, Ruchi Munoth is responsible for costumes, Rajesh A handles production design and Mahesh Mathew oversees the stunt sequences. With two schedules already completed, fresh updates about the remaining filming and release plans are expected as production progresses.

Alongside Bro Club, Ravi Mohan also provided an update about his directorial debut An Ordinary Man, starring Yogi Babu. According to Ravi Mohan, the film explores the journey of an average individual who gradually discovers extraordinary qualities within himself. The story follows the transformation of an ordinary man into a better human being and eventually into someone whose character reaches an almost godlike level.
