The teaser of Kunal Kemmu’s action-comedy Vibe has introduced Preity G Zinta, Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava in key roles. The film follows two ordinary friends unexpectedly pulled into a dangerous mission and is scheduled to release in theatres on September 18, 2026.
Vibe teaser turns two ordinary friends into unlikely heroes
The teaser of the upcoming action-comedy Vibe has been unveiled, offering the first look at a chaotic mission involving Kunal Kemmu, Sparsh Shrivastava and Preity G Zinta. Written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, the film combines comedy, action and high-stakes situations around two men who suddenly find themselves responsible for something much bigger than their everyday lives.
Kemmu plays Hardik, while Sparsh Shrivastava appears as Bugs. The teaser establishes them as ordinary friends with neither the training nor experience required for the dangerous assignment waiting for them. Their lack of preparation becomes a major source of comedy as circumstances force them deeper into a crisis they never expected to face.
Instead of presenting conventional action heroes, Vibe appears to use the confusion and fear of its lead characters to generate humour while gradually increasing the scale of the mission.
Vibe teaser gives Preity Zinta a commanding role
Preity G Zinta emerges as one of the most prominent figures in the teaser. Her character appears confident, composed and in control of the operation, while Hardik and Bugs struggle to understand what they have been dragged into.
The teaser shows her directing the two men as the situation becomes increasingly dangerous. Her presence adds a more serious layer to the otherwise comic dynamic between the unlikely heroes and suggests she could play a crucial role in pushing the story forward. Preity’s appearance in Vibe is also drawing attention as the actor continues her return to prominent Hindi film projects. Her character here appears considerably different from the confused and inexperienced duo at the centre of the action.
Vibe teaser mixes action, comedy and growing chaos
The film’s central hook appears to be the contrast between a serious national-level mission and two men who are completely unprepared for it. As Hardik and Bugs attempt to survive the unfolding events, the teaser moves between action sequences, comic situations and increasingly higher stakes.
The supporting cast includes debutant Vanshika Dhir along with Dinesh Lal Yadav and Yashpal Sharma in important roles. While the teaser keeps many plot details under wraps, it establishes a world in which ordinary characters are forced to react quickly when circumstances turn dangerous. Kunal Kemmu previously made his feature directorial debut with Madgaon Express in 2024. With Vibe, he appears to be expanding the scale by combining his comic sensibilities with action and mission-driven storytelling.
Vibe release date and production details confirmed
Vibe is written and directed by Kunal Kemmu and produced by Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under Drongo Films. The project is backed by Amazon MGM Studios and is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 18, 2026.
The teaser positions Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava as an unconventional hero pair while giving Preity G Zinta a commanding role at the heart of the mission. With its mix of friendship, danger, comedy and action, Vibe is aiming to offer audiences a fast-paced entertainer built around characters who become heroes by circumstance rather than choice.
