Blackmail is an upcoming Tamil-language crime-thriller film directed and written by Mu Maran. The film stars G.V. Prakash Kumar as Mani, a man entangled in a web of blackmail that spirals beyond control. As the stakes rise, themes of crime, passion, and greed collide, unraveling secrets and shifting loyalties at every turn. The film also features Teju Ashwini, Srikanth, Bindu Madhavi, Ramesh Thilak, and Redin Kingsley in pivotal roles. The music for the movie is composed by Sam C.S., with cinematography by Gokul Benoy and editing by San Lokesh. Produced by A. Deivakani under the banner of JDS Film Factory, Blackmail is set to release on August 1, 2025.
