Movie Description

Charak (2026) also billed as Charak: Fair of Faith is an upcoming Hindi thriller and socially grounded drama centered on belief, tradition and the extremes of ritual practice. Directed by Shiladitya Moulik with creative input from Amarnath Jha, the film stars Anjali Patil in the lead alongside Sahidur Rahaman, Subrat Dutta, Shashi Bhushan and others, with a score by Bishakh Jyoti. Produced by Sudipto Sen’s PEN Studios in association with Sipping Tea Cinemas, Charak probes how blind faith and folklore can blur morality and test human resilience, set against a festival backdrop. It’s scheduled to hit Indian cinemas on March 6, 2026.
