Plot
Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is inspired by the 26/11 Cama Hospital attack in Mumbai. The film follows Geeta Madhav, a nurse who is caught in the middle of a terror crisis while trying to protect patients, staff and civilians. Instead of focusing on terrorists, the film highlights the courage of nurses, security guards, hospital workers and ordinary people who continued their duties during one of Mumbai’s darkest nights.
Overview
The film attempts to tell a lesser-discussed side of the 26/11 attacks. It brings attention to the people who stayed back, helped others and kept working while fear surrounded them. The emotional core is strong, but the film becomes too centered on one character, which limits the larger impact of the story.
Performances
Kangana Ranaut delivers a powerful and emotionally intense performance as Geeta Madhav. Her expressions, silence and breakdown scenes carry much of the film. Still, the film deserves credit for remembering the people who rarely get cinematic attention. Nurses, guards, hospital staff and ordinary citizens are shown as the real backbone during a crisis. The film may not be the most gripping 26/11 drama, but it has sincerity and emotional weight.
