Buffalo Bayou Park is a 160-acre linear park along Buffalo Bayou between Sabine Street and Shepherd Drive featuring open green spaces and lawns, gardens, natural landscaping, hike and bike trails, footpaths, and trail lighting. Buffalo Bayou Park is also home to the Cistern, a decommissioned former drinking water reservoir for the City of Houston which now hosts history tours, art installations, and performances.
