In what could be considered a massive embarrassing situation for the Hyderabad Cricket Association, the power supply DISCOM has severed the power supply to the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad.

The power supply agency alleged that the HCA owes them Rs 1.6 crore in dues since the last 7 years and that is the reason why the power supply has been cut to the stadium.

This shocking power supply cut has come 24 hours before the much anticipated game between SRH and CSK. This is a humiliating image dent for the HCA and also the SRH franchise. 

However, the latest updates are suggesting that the power supply has been restored as the DISCOM gave 24 hours time to the HCA for the clearance of the power bill. 

This move from the DISCOM is not to disappoint cricket fans who have eagerly been waiting for the game between SRH and Chennai and crores of rupees were transacted on the ticket sales. 

So as thigs stand, the game between SRH and CSK will progress according to schedule. But not to take away the fact that HCA still owes DISCOM Rs 1.6 crore in power dues
