Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sustained a serious injury to his forehead today while he entered the Vijayawada district as a part of his ongoing bus tour. An unidentified man threw a stone at Jagan and injured the CM.

On this matter, KTR shared a social media post and wished the AP CM a speedy recovery. "Glad you are Safe. Take care  @ysjagan Anna
Strongly condemn the attack on AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy Garu. Violence has no place in democracy and I hope strict preventive measures are put in place by ECI".

Prime Minister Modi too shared a social media message as he wished the AP a speedy recovery from the incident. He kept his message short and crisp.

Sharmila tweeted "It is sad and unfortunate that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked and injured above his left eye while he was partaking in the election campaign today. We think it was an accident. Otherwise, if it was done on purpose, everyone should definitely condemn it. Democracy has no place for violence. Every democrat must condemn violence. I am praying to God for Jagan's speedy recovery."

Sharmila suspected that there might have been a case of foul play in the shocking incident but in the end, she wished a speedy recovery to her brother.
