About the Workshop:
Air pollution is caused by particles and gasses being suspended in the air. This harms humans and animals, damages forests, and degrades water quality. Solutions need to involve reducing emissions from transportation, waste burning, and industrial activities.
Speakers:

Chris Klaus: Chris is with the Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), managing Air Quality Planning and Operations in North Texas with the goal of attaining National Air Quality Standards.

Kevin Overton: Kevin is a recently retired environmental scientist with 40 years in the field. He is experienced in pollution prevention (P2) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS). He managed two Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventories for Dallas and was the technical lead for a climate action plan for Dallas (CECAP), recognized as one of the best climate plans in the U.S.
