Delhi Police intensified surveillance, installed multi-layered barricades and stepped up vehicle checks at strategic entry points. Authorities said no permission had been granted for the march and warned that any unauthorised procession towards Parliament would invite legal action. The heightened security follows the hospitalisation of activist Sonam Wangchuk, whose hunger strike has drawn widespread public attention.
