For a while now, we have been hearing multiple reports pertaining to Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s SSMB28. It is extensively reported that Trivikram has changed the entire script for SSMB28 following a key input from Mahesh. The team will start the filming this December with a new script in hand.  

Meanwhile, there have also been rumors that Thaman might get replaced as the music composer for the film as Mahesh is not entirely pleased with his work for the action thriller. It was reported that young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander might replace him. 

But the latest developments, as confirmed by our sources close to the movie unit, have confirmed that it is decided that Thaman will indeed continue working on the film. Anirudh was indeed considered as the right replacement but Mahesh and the makers decided against it later. 

Thaman will be the scoring the soundtrack for SSMB28. What Mahesh wants from him is to deliver a better output in regard to the background and re recording than what he did with their previous collaboration, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Thaman has been instructed to focus more on the same. 

Due to the delay in the production, it is certain that this Mahesh Babu starrer won’t be releasing in theaters next April, as announced earlier. It might get pushed to August 2023 or later.
