The much awaited Shaakuntalam which is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa's Sanskrit play 'Abhijnana Shakuntalam' is all set to release on February 17th, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The film will be released in 3D so that audiences can experience the Gunasekhar visual magic.

Melody Brahma Manisharma is scoring music for the film. Recently the film re-recording was done at Budapest, Hungary with Symphony Orchestra of Hungary and it will be one of the major highlights.
